Video shows mother after being accused of choking daughter
The Medical University of South Carolina released a video Friday showing a mother after she was accused of trying to choke her daughter in the Children’s Hospital.
The video shows Chevonne Deandra Younginer, 17, of Summerville, falling out of a chair. A police report said she faked passing out after being confronted with video evidence that she tried to push part of a stuffed animal toy into the infant’s airway.
Younginer is charged with unlawful neglect.
