The College of Charleston managed to overcome foul problems and a short bench to score an 86-78 victory over Davidson Saturday at TD Arena.

Trent Wiedeman and James Carlton both fouled out for the Cougars, who also played without starter Matt Sundberg.

The Cougars improved to 16-10, 8-7 in the Southern Conference while league-leading Davidson fell to 19-6, 13-2.

Senior Antwaine Wiggins scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds, his fourth double-double of the season and fifth of his career, to lead the Cougars.
