State roads money to pay for more than just S.C. 165

SUMMERVILLE —Two other intersections will be improved and rights-of-way purchased with the other $6 million in road funds awarded Thursday by the State Infrastructure Bank.

The allocations are:

The bank approved $19 million for Dorchester County, with $13 million going to widen S.C. Highway 165 to Ashley Ridge High School from just past Cooks Crossroads at S.C. 61. The project complements a widening of S.C. 165 from Trolley Road in Summerville to the crossroads.
