Tops in Blue, the Air Force's showcase for music, dance and comedy talent, continues its 2012 tour, "Rhythm Nation", with a free concert at 7 tonight at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

"Rhythm Nation" reflects the music of America from the early 1900s through the present day, offering a panorama of a century of popular music from the vocals of Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday and the rock 'n' roll sounds of Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis to the Motown cool of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Now in its 50th year on the stage, Tops in Blue's current tour covers 140 shows in more than 20 countries.

Known as the USAF's Expeditionary Entertainers, the group's main mission is to perform for military personnel and their families throughout the world.
