St. Paul's business forum scheduled

The towns of Hollywood, Meggett and Ravenel and Charleston County are holding their second St. Paul's Small Business Forum this month.

It will take place on Thursday, Feb. 16, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Ravenel Community Hall at 5700 Conner St.

The forum will include a presentation on the essential components needed to prepare a business plan by Joe Conti, a member of the business counseling group SCORE.

Also information will be available local organizations that work with small businesses, including the Charleston Local Development Corporation, the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Clemson Extension, the U.S. Small Business Administration, St. Paul's Fire Department, Trident One-Stop Career System, Trident Technical College, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and others.
