Get in the cockpit at Patriots Point

Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum will offer Open Cockpit Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 19.

The event, which will not be offered again for several months, allows visitors to enter the cockpits of several aircraft on the flight deck, in the hangar bay and at the Vietnam support base.

Aircraft cockpits to be opened include F-18 Hornet, SBD Dauntless, H-1 Huey, S-3 Viking, H-3 Sea King, F-9 Cougar and A-6 Intruder. Several aviators with naval aviation experience will be on hand.
