Cougars top App State
Junior guard Andrew Lawrence scored 24 points and had seven assists as the College of Charleston beat Appalachian State, 74-62, Saturday at the Holmes Center in Boone, N.C.
The Cougars improved to 14-10 and 6-7 in the league while Appalachian State lost its second straight game, falling to 9-13, 5-7.
After three straight road games, the Cougars return to TD Arena Thursday for an 8 p.m. game against Western Carolina.
