Baker Motor buys Sentry Buick, moves Cadillac dealership

Expansion-minded Baker Motor Co. has purchased Sentry Buick GMC and moved the former Miller Cadillac business from Mount Pleasant to the "auto mile" on Savannah Highway.

The Sentry Buick deal closed Tuesday, it was announced today.

At the same time, the Cadillac dealership was relocated to the former Sentry Buick lot at 1621 Savannah Highway in West Ashley. The combined businesses now operate as Baker Buick GMC Cadillac.

Charleston-based Baker Motor bought Miller Cadillac in November.
