Wofford handles Cougars

Wofford took charge early and earned a 68-59 victory over the College of Charleston Saturday at TD Arena.

The Terriers, led by senior guard Brad Loesing's 18 points and 8 assists, improved to 14-8 and 7-3 in the Southern Conference. Wofford now has five straight wins.

College of Charleston, which lost its fourth straight, fell to 12-9, 4-6. The Cougars got 18 points and 10 rebounds from Trent Wiedeman.
