Chris Moody just might end up at South Carolina after all.

Moody, a defensive back from Henry County High School (Ga.) who committed to Vanderbilt last weekend, told the Atlanta Journal Constitution today that he is making a last-minute official visit to South Carolina this weekend.

South Carolina defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward visited Moody at his high school on Thursday. The Gamecocks were thought to be Moody’s top choice prior to him committing to Vandy.

“I have no idea what Coach Ward said to Chris but it was good enough to talk him into visiting South Carolina this weekend,” Henry County coach Mike Rozier told the AJC. “He’s leaving around noon to go over there.”
