Boeing Co. has entered into new talks about land controlled by Charleston International Airport.

A Charleston County Aviation Authority committee met behind closed doors today with a local Boeing staff attorney to discuss contractual matters involving real estate.

The Development Committee meeting included a Boeing lawyer and lasted about 45 minutes. No action was taken. Airport officials declined to comment.

The company said in a statement that it does not "comment on potential pending or future transactions" and that it regularly reviews its real estate needs. The aerospace giant already leases a large parcel at the airport for its 787 manufacturing campus.
