Cougars crush Elon

The College of Charleston got double-doubles from Adjehi Baru and Trent Wiedeman Saturday as the Cougars crushed Elon, 63-44, at TD Arena. Baru had 18 points and 12 rebounds while Wiedeman 10 points and 17 rebounds. Antwaine Wiggins scored 13 points and had seven rebounds.

Charleston, which ended a two-game home losing streak, improved to 12-5, 4-2 in the Southern Conference while Elon fell to 8-8, 3-2.
