The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate a James Island woman reported missing since last week.
Angela Trent, 47, reportedly left her 947 Mikell Drive residence about 6 p.m. last Wednesday in a gold Chrysler Town and Country van, with SC license tag HHL 483. Her family reported her missing the next day, sheriff's office Maj. Jim Brady said.
Brady said Monday that Trent's family advised investigators that she had made threats to harm herself. She has not been seen or heard from since she departed in the van, Brady said. He said foul play is not suspected.
Trent is described as a white female, 5-feet-2-inches tall with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt with green stripes, Brady said.
Anyone with information or knowledge of Trent's whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 843-202-1700.
