Traffic is now moving efficiently on the Don Holt Bridge between North Charleston and Mount Pleasant and in both directions after a morning of traffic accidents reported on both sides brought flow to a standstill.
The backup was felt all the way onto Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant.
The day’s tally showed at least five accidents involving vehicles of all sizes, from cars to 18 wheeler trucks.
Up to 20 vehicles were involved.
