Swinney: Howard to start for Ellington Saturday
CLEMSON - Running back D.J. Howard will start in place of leading rusher Andre Ellington Saturday at Georgia Tech, coach Dabo Swinney said after practice Thursday.
Swinney said using Ellington, will be a game time decision after his having been limited in practice this week with an injury to his left ankle that he suffered in the win against North Carolina.
Swinney said he had confidence in freshmen Howard and Mike Bellamy, who is also expected to have more of a workload Saturday.
