Goose Creek offers 'Dive-In Movie'

The city of Goose Creek's "Dive-In Movie," sponsored by Google, has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at the city's swimming pool at Crowfield Golf and Country Club.

This free family-friendly event will feature the movie "Rango" shown on a giant 30-foot inflatable screen. Activities will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will start around 8:45 p.m. Google will provide attendees with goodies, while supplies last.

Residents can use movie tickets that are dated Aug. 20 for entry into this event. The Recreation Department also will offer 50 movie tickets to residents who missed getting tickets during the first distribution period. Residents must pick up movie tickets at the Goose Creek Community Center; no tickets will be given out on the day of the event.

The Goose Creek Recreation Department will offer concessions to include movie popcorn, nachos, sodas and water. No coolers or pets.
