Jack Jones named vice president, general manager of Boeing South Carolina
Boeing Co. on Tuesday picked a 31-year employee to lead its expanding aircraft assembly business in North Charleston.
Jack Jones was named vice president and general manager of Boeing South Carolina.
Jones replaces Tim Coyle, who will head up operations at Boeing’s Aviation Technical Services unit in Everett, Wash., where his team will be responsible for modifications and completion of early-production 787 airplanes.
Jones most recently served as vice president of the Everett Delivery Center, overseeing on-ground, paint, preflight and delivery operations for the Boeing widebody models 747, 767, 777 and 787 that are assembled in Washington.
Marco Cavazzoni will remain as vice president and general manager of final assembly and delivery for local operations. He will report to Jones.
