The ETV program Connections is featuring an episode on the African-American experience during the Civil War.
The show's host, P.A. Bennett, will talk with Jannie Harriott of the South Carolina African American Heritage Commission, Lonnie Randolph, branch president of the S.C. NAACP, and Michael Allen of the National Park Service, all about the issues African-Americans faced in the South during the war.
The show airs 7:30 p.m. Friday and will be rebroadcast on at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
