Kyle Jordan went 3 for 4 and tied a career-high with five RBIs as The Citadel (11-3, 3-0 Southern Conference) won, 11-6, on Sunday for a three-game sweep of Western Carolina (10-5, 0-3) at Riley Park.

The win gave the Bulldogs their first sweep over Western Carolina since 2004, also at Riley Park. Citadel starter Michael Clevinger worked 4 1/3 innings. Reliever Chris Boyce got the victory.

This was the first sweep for the Bulldogs since they pulled it off against the College of Charleston on May 14-16, 2009 at Riley Park. The 11-3 start for The Citadel is the best since the 1990 squad that went to the College World Series started the year off at 27-1.

Western Carolina starter Vance Chavis (2-2) took the loss as he went only 3.0 innings, allowing seven hits, eight runs, two earned runs, with three walks and a strikeout. White led the Catamount offense, going 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI.
