Berkeley Dems to hold holiday party
Goose Creek -- The Berkeley County Democratic Party will hold its holiday party and meeting from 6-8 tonight at the Berkeley Electric Co-op, 2 Spring Hall Drive.
Everyone is welcome, and guests are asked to bring an appetizer. Drinks will be provided.

Fund to help slain man's family
A fund has been established to help the relatives of the 25-year-old choir leader who was stabbed to death in his North Charleston apartment Tuesday pay for funeral expenses.
Donations to the Brandon Jamison Memorial Fund are being accepted at any Bank of America branch, relatives said.
CSO members to perform Saturday
Members of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra will perform Saturday at the Charleston Library Society.
The symphony's string section will perform a holiday concert in the library beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is $15, and the event is open to the public.
The Library Society, the oldest cultural institution in the South, is at 164 King St. Call 723-9912 for more information.
