Max: A 4-year-old brown-and-white spaniel mix is a real clown and lover of other dogs, cats and kids. He's a wiggler and a waggler who enjoys being the center of attention and would be a fantastic greeter to come home to every evening.

Mikaela: A 5-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi/bull terrier mix who is white with brown speckled ears. She was adopted a few weeks ago and was returned when her owners had to move. She is sweet and happy to sit in a lap but also loves to romp. She has a head start on house training and likes dogs and cats.

Call Pet Helpers at 795-1110. Adoption fees are $125 for cats and dogs younger than 6 months old, $100 for cats and dogs 6 months or older, and $55 for rabbits. Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, shots, heartworm check, leukemia check, de-worming, microchip, collar and tag.
