Swine flu clinics

Additional H1N1 clinics have been added through the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

The vaccinations are given by appointment only. Call 953-0090 to schedule an appointment.

There is no out-of-pocket charge for the H1N1 vaccine at DHEC clinics.

The vaccine shot is for anyone age 6 months or older who is not allergic to

eggs. Pregnant women, children younger than 2 and people with compromised immune systems cannot receive the nasal spray version of the vaccine.

These clinics are still for the recommended Centers for Disease Control groups considered at the greatest risk: children, pregnant women, babies under 6 months and anyone in a household as a caregiver, health care professionals, people from age 6 months to age 24 and people in other age groups who are at greater risk of contracting the flu.
