McCain, Graham plan Town Hall
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham and his close ally Sen. John McCain will appear in Charleston at 9 a.m. Monday for a Town Hall meeting at The Citadel.
The meeting is open to the public, and both Republican senators will take questions about health care and other topics.
Graham, R-S.C., was one of McCain's closest allies during last year's presidential campaign, helping the Arizona senator prevail in South Carolina's GOP primary and ultimately in the national Republican presidential race. This is McCain's first return trip to Charleston since losing to President Barack Obama in the general election.
The senators, who share a reputation for being unafraid to buck their party's line and reach across the aisle, have remained close and sat together Wednesday night during Obama's major health care address.
Their Town Hall will take place in The Citadel's McAlister Field House, 171 Moultrie St.
Organizers said that political signs and materials will not be allowed inside.
