What to choose? What to choose? Such is the dilemma at Mozzo, a splendid Northeastern style deli in Mount Pleasant. It's the sort of place when upon ordering, you're felled with immediate doubts: not because of poor choice, but because everything on the mega menu looks so dang good.

Hmmm ... The Fusion ($5.50) with roasted turkey, brie and raspberry sauce? The Fat Boy ($6) with pastrami, corn beef and Russian dressing? Maybe a traditional meatball parm? See, pretty nice predicament to have.

Connecticut native and owner Shannon Campbell lends considerable know-how, having worked in the deli biz since 1986.

Forget about the gimmicky Mozzo Monster challenge, finishing off a 3-plus pound burger in 30 minutes: The man is serious about his sandwiches.

We're fond of Dig the Fig ($6.50), a sweet-and-salty commingling of prosciutto, fig preserves, grilled onions and asiago cheese.

There's the Honeyslide ($7) made with roasted turkey, crisp bacon, Swiss cheese and honey mayo.

And then the Cali Club ($5.50): bacon, avocado, cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers and green goddess dressing.

But, believe it, maybe best is the Bourzy burger ($6.50) cooked on the griddle top and covered in creamy Boursin cheese. Juices drip, flavors flow, game on. It's a heckuva burger.

Each sandwich can be had cold, heated, pressed or grilled, and comes wrapped in aluminum foil and butcher paper. The open-air kitchen suits the slick, new surroundings, pleasant for breakfast and lunch.

When the toughest decision is the order, the eating, my friends, is easy.
