Taco Boy presents a weeklong food drive
Taco Boy presents a weeklong food drive.
Last year, the Lowcountry Food Bank distributed 10.3 million pounds of food in Charleston's 10 coastal counties. This year they are forecasted to supply 330 agencies within these counties with a forecasted 14 millions pounds of food. Beginning Aug. 17, Taco Boy Folly Beach will be collecting food items for one week in an effort to help the Food Bank reach its goal to help all residents in Charleston's coastal counties defeat hunger.
Anyone who donates 3 or more food items to Taco Boy will receive either a free Tecate or Salsa Trio (limit one per person, per day and in combination with regular priced menu items.) Additionally, each donator's receipt will be stamped and entered into a raffle to be drawn at the Customer Appreciation Event on August 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Everything happens at the Folly Beach Taco Boy, 15 Center St. For more information, visit the Taco Boy Facebook Fan Page at
