Woman killed as car leaves road

A Berkeley County woman died after losing control of her car early Sunday morning.

Coroner Glenn Rhoad identified her as Sarah Elizabeth Robinson of Spiers Landing Road in Cross.

She was driving west on Old Highway 6 about 1:30 a.m. Sunday when her vehicle left the road and wrecked about a mile before County Line Road, Highway Patrol Cpl. Paul Brouthers said. She was driving a 2004 Chevrolet sport-utility vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt, he said.
