The South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association has elected new officers and board member for 2009-10, effective July 1. John T. Jones of Sumter-based Jones Chevrolet Co. Inc. is president. Graham Eubank of Palmetto Ford Inc. in Charleston is first vice president. Harold Arnold Jr. of Harold Arnold Sentry Buick Pontiac GMC in Charleston is regional vice president for the group's coastal district. Sam Burns of Burns Chevrolet Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Gaffney is treasurer.
SCADA board members representing the coastal district are: Mark Hoover of Hoover Chrysler Jeep Inc.; Doug McElveen of McElveen Pontiac Buick GMC Inc. in Summerville; David Walters of Jones Ford Inc. in North Charleston; Scott Rizer of Rizer Chevrolet Co. Inc. in Walterboro; and Jerry Stokes of Stokes Automotive Group in Beaufort.
Douglas A. Snyder, founding partner of the The Snyder Firm, which provides accounting, tax and consulting services, been elected chairman of The Citadel Board of Visitors. He succeeds Maj. Gen. Arthur H. Baiden III, whose term on the college's governing board concluded June 30. Snyder graduated from The Citadel in 1982 with a degree in business administration. He served as the board's vice chairman from 2002-06 and has been chairman of the finance committee since 1998.
Breeze Draheim of Summerville has been named to the board of directors of Provost Academy South Carolina, a new state-authorized public online school. She serves as a South Carolina representative for Walden University, where she also is on the faculty.
Blair Belk and Trey Lucy of Grubb&Ellis|Barkley Fraser represented the landlord in leasing 1,091 square feet of retail space to Joey Bag a Donuts LLC, at 1118 Park West Blvd., Mount Pleasant.
Will Phillips of Anchor Commercial/CORFAC International leased a 1,300-square-foot building at 1094 Morrison Dr. in Charleston to Open Dome Productions on behalf of Patrick Kelley and Wilson Baker. Also, Reid Davis of Anchor Commercial leased a 14,350-square-foot warehouse at 3150 Stanton Ct. in North Charleston to ZSS Holdings LLC on behalf of Segal Associates.
J. Wesley Ratterree, chief information officer for the City of Charleston, has graduated from the 2009 Certified Government Chief Information Officers Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Government.
Oliver Mathewes of Carolina One Commercial Real Estate represented the seller, SOS LLC, and the buyer, Sweetwater Holdings LLC, in the $1 million sale and purchase of a 7,600-square-foot office building at 1315 Ashley River Rd. in Charleston. It will be the new corporate headquarters for Charleston Imaging Products.

Charleston-based Twin Rivers Capital LLC has completed the development of a Family Dollar store in Pierson, Fla. Charleston-based HJB Construction Inc. was the contractor on the project.
Kent Thune, a certified financial planner and president of Atlantic Capital Investments LLC, has received a master's degree in business administration from The Citadel.
