Clemson, USC to play at Fluor Field
GREENVILLE — Clemson and South Carolina are scheduled to face off at Fluor Field their next two seasons.
The Tigers and Gamecocks will play a three-game series over one weekend in 2010 and again in 2011. The middle game, on a Saturday, will be played at the Greenville Drive's minor league park.
Minor league team officials made the announcement Friday.
The plan calls for the series next season to start at Clemson's Doug Kingsmore Stadium, go to Fluor Field the next day and finish up at South Carolina's Carolina Stadium.
In 2011, the series would start at South Carolina and finish at Clemson.
The rivals have played four times a year the past few seasons.
