Pro Level Sports 9-U spring/summer baseball travel team: Has three roster openings remaining. To inquire about possible tryouts or practices, contact Robert Heaton at 973-1255 or call Pro Level Sports at 851-7187. The roster will be filled within two weeks so call quickly.

Summerville Shockwave 10U team: will be having a workout today 1 p.m. at the Gahagan Sports Complex. Anyone 10 years old on May 1st, 2009, is encouraged to come out for a two hour baseball work out and to learn more about our program for the upcoming spring and summer season. We are looking for kids who have a passion for baseball but want to finish baseball prior to football season. Our goal is to develop each player to compete at their next level. Carolina youth baseball registration: For ages 3-14 will be held every Saturday in February at Alston Middle School Baseball field from 9-11:30 a.m. and also Monday-Saturday at Matt's Barber Shop behind OK Grocery from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For more information contact Anthony Pinckney 821-1058.

Summerville YMCA spring youth baseball/t-ball: Registration for ages 4-15 is ongoing through March 23. Coaches meeting March 24 at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $38 for members; $80 for non-members.

Individual/group baseball lessons w/ College of Charleston assistant Brent Walsh: Lessons can be at Patriots Point or parks can be worked out to suit the players location. Instruction can be on hitting, defense, baserunning, pitching or mental approach. Thirty or 45 minute sessions are best but arrangements can be made to suit players needs. MOUNT PLEASANT DIAMOND WARRIORS TRAVEL BASEBALL PROGRAM: The Mount Pleasant Diamond Warriors will be fielding a 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and an 18U for the Spring/Summer season. Evaluations for the 13U and 14U teams will be held Feb. 17 and 18 at Duffy Park off of Center Street in Mount Pleasant. Candidates only need to attend one day. Bonneau T-ball, Baseball, and Softball Registration AND Umpires needed: Bonneau Recreation T-Ball, Baseball, and Softball season is approaching soon. JIM RYCKMAN 3 VS. 3 SENIOR BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will host the 14th Annual Jim Ryckman Senior Basketball Tournament on Feb. 28 at the MPRD Park West Gym. Games will begin at 8 a.m. and will be played in age divisions 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ in a 3 vs. 3 half-court format. Lowcountry Officials Association: We are seeking individuals interested in umpiring slowpitch softball games in the North Charleston area. We are affilated with the National Softball Association and travel out of town for both slow and fastpitch tournaments. MOUNT PLEASANT STINGERS TRAVEL BASKETBALL PROGRAM: The Mt. Pleasant Stingers will be fielding a 13U, 14U, 15U and 16U Boy's team and a 14U and 16U Girl's team for the 2009 season. Tryouts begin on Feb. 28 for boys; March 3 for girls. All tryouts will take place at the Park West gym in Mt. Pleasant. Season begins March 20 and ends no later than May 31.
