VMI hands Citadel women's soccer loss
LEXINGTON, VA. — Alexi Staton's goal in the 35th minute held up to give VMI (2-0) a 1-0 victory over The Citadel (0-2) in women's soccer on Monday.
VMI led in shots 17-3, and Citadel keepers Emily Green and Britni Bunnell combined for nine saves.
