Jennifer Berry Hawes is a projects writer for The Post and Courier who worked on the Pulitzer Prize-winning team that produced “Till Death Do Us Part.” During her stints focusing on healthcare, religion, courts, features and education reporting, she has won numerous national awards. They include a George Polk Award, National Headliner Award and an ASNE Award for Local Accountability Reporting. She also is a past South Carolina Journalist of the Year and the Religion Newswriters Association's Cornell Reporter of the Year. Today, she works on the newspaper’s Watchdog & Public Service Team.
