February 24, 2013 - Saturday’s Charleston Heart Ball marked the 16th annual Art & Wine Auction put on by the American Heart Association. Taking place in the ballroom of the Charleston Marriott, the black-tie event featured an intense live auction of some of the best art, wine and luxury packages available. The event started off with a silent auction during the cocktail hour, followed by a seated gourmet dinner. Afterward, the live auction took place. After attendees put their bidding arm to rest, they had the chance to get up and dance to the Palmetto Soul band.
