February 24, 2013 - The Lowcountry Parrothead Club hosted their ninth annual Mardi Crawl along Shem Creek on Saturday. “Crawlers” traveled in groups to each of six participating restaurants - Red’s Ice House, RB’s Seafood, Vickery’s Bar & Grill, Shem Creek Bar & Grill, Water’s Edge and Shelter – and enjoyed food and drink specials, interactive games and live entertainment for about an hour at each location before moving on to the next. After they made their way to each spot, they came full circle for the official after-party at Red’s, which featured live music from Homemade Wine. Proceeds benefitted the South Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and other local charities.
