December 02, 2012 - What once used to be a �casual but elegant affair� at Boone Hall Plantation has grown, aiming to become one of the finest holiday wine festivals in the Southeast. Attendees of this year�s event sampled wines provided by 15 distributors and eight wineries on Boone Hall�s back lawn. Folks also enjoyed a wine and food pairing exhibit, breads and spreads, and the champagne and desserts tent. Live entertainment was provided by local favorite Tyler Boone, followed by headliner Christopher Cross, a five-time Grammy winner. The 21-and-over event benefitted the American Red Cross.
