CLEMSON – Clemson reserve receiver Joe Craig has been dismissed from the team coach Dabo Swinney announced Wednesday. Swinney did not elaborate on why Craig was dismissed.
“Joe Craig has been permanently dismissed from the Clemson football team for a violation of team rules,” Swinney said in a release. “We wish him the best as he continues his academic and athletic career.”
The sophomore was suspended for the first three games of the season for his involved in a violent fight with a female track athlete in the spring. He finished the season with three receptions for 18 yards in seven games this past season.
