A juvenile was injured Wednesday morning from an explosive device, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at around 8 a.m. on Mahi Mahi Way in North Charleston, according to police spokesman Spencer Pryor.
It remained unclear what kind of explosive device he was injured with.
The juvenile was transported to Medical University Hospital in serious condition with a hand injury, according to Charleston County EMS Director Don Lundy. Investigators are trying to figure out exactly what happened, Pryor said.
