A Charleston County Sheriff’s SWAT team and U.S. Marshals swarmed an Awendaw home today to arrest a man wanted out of Florida.
The man was wanted on an attempted murder charge, Sheriff’s Maj. Eric Watson said. He was arrested at a home on Broomstraw Hill Road, Watson said.
The wanted man turned himself in without incident, Watson said.
Further details about the incident were not immediately available.
A second man inside the home was detained for questioning, Watson said.
