NOTES: Although Clemson won the first five games in the series’ history, the Chanticleers have beaten the Tigers each of the previous two years; Coastal edged host Clemson 60-59 in 2011-12, and dominated 69-46 last year in Conway. Cliff Ellis, the Chanticleers’ head coach, is Clemson’s winningest head coach (compiling a 177-128 record from 1985-94.) Tigers junior point guard Rod Hall, who scored double-digit points four times in 62 career games before this year, has done so five out of six games this month.
