The College of Charleston, Charleston Southern and The Citadel announced their basketball signings on Wednesday.

Irmo High School forward Javis Howard, rated as a top-150 player in the country, headlines Charleston Southern’s class. Two other South Carolina natives join him in the class — forward Wesley Johnson (Eastside High School) and guard Jarryd Coleman (Greenwood High School). Guard Danny Upchurch (Fairfield, Conn., Putnam Science Academy) rounds out the class.

The Citadel added 6-4, 195-pound Jake Wright of Minnetonka, Minn., rated a three-star prospect and the No. 49 shooting guard in the nation by ESPN.

The Cougars signed Evan Bailey, a 6-6 forward, out of Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio; Donovan Gilmore, a 6-7 power forward from Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, N.C.; and 6-10 forward Nick Harris out of St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta.
