Previously, he was a vice president of GJS Architects and Smith Gerber McClure & Associates Inc. He has a master’s degree in architecture from Clemson University.
David Astley has been promoted to vice president and controller at Mount Pleasant-based Southcoast Community Bank. He has been with the company since 2001, and he is a certified public accountant. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Charleston.
Dr. Sonia Singh has joined Coastal Pediatric Associates as a physician based in the West Ashley office. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Spanish from Rhodes College and a medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.
Stacie Lynam and Bryan Fargis have joined Inn Place Charleston Airport Hotel in North Charleston,
Lynam in sales manager. She has more than 13 years of hospitality industry experience.
Fargis is chief engineer. Previously, he was director of engineering at the Sheraton Sacramento Hotel. He has 10 years of hotel maintenance experience.
Jenny Horne has joined Stantec’s community development practice in Charleston as a senior landscape architect. She has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia.
David Santos has joined McNair Law Firm as an associate in the firm’s Charleston office. His practice focuses on real estate acquisitions and sales, financing, contracts and real property title disputes. He has more than seven years of experience. Previously, he was with Dodds & Hennessy. He has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and a law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
George Greene IV, Seth Womble and Rogers Hook have been promoted at Water Missions International.
Greene is president and chief operating officer. Previously, he was executive vice president of operations since 2007. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Clemson University.
Womble is vice president of operations. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University.
Hook is vice president of volunteer and investor partnerships. Previously, he was a regional director overseeing several Water Missions International country programs, including Mexico, Belize and Honduras. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.
Rees Johnston and Jessica White have joined Carolina One Real Estate as agents.
Johnston is based in the Highway 17 North office in Mount Pleasant. She has had a real estate license since 2007. Previously, she was with the Anglican Mission in the Americas. She has bachelor’s degree from Hollins College.
White is based in the Trolley Road office in Summerville. She has more than nine years of experience as a real estate agent, mortgage originator and manager of an escrow and title company
John True has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic Inc. as an agent.
He has more than 10 years of real estate development and commercial brokerage experience. Previously, he was managing principal at Beacon Investment Group LLC. He has a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University.
Jonathan Williams has been named chef de cuisine at Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Tomasso at Turtle Point. He has been with the restaurant for two years.
