GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Greenwood County sheriff’s deputies have obtained warrants for two suspects in the shooting death of a man earlier this month.
Deputies have obtained a warrant accusing 35-year-old Daniel Shane Allen with murder and possession of a gun during a violent crime.
Allen’s wife, 20-year-old Megan Allen, is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
The Greenwood couple is wanted in the Oct. 11 shooting death of 42-year-old Lonnie Terry Cogdill. Investigators were called to a home and found Cogdill with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Daniel Allen’s father and brother were arrested Tuesday. Fifty-seven-year-old Danny Dee Allen and 28-year-old Parker Allen are charged as accessories after a felony.
Investigators say the men provided the suspects with money to help them evade law enforcement.
