Charleston software giant Blackbaud Inc. said one of its top executives is leaving.
Jana B. Eggers, senior vice president for products and marketing, is stepping down Oct. 3, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
No reason was given.
Eggers has joined the Daniel Island company in November 2010. Previously, she was chief executive officer of Germany-based Spreadshirt. She also has held technology and executive positions at Intuit, Basis Technology, Lycos, American Airlines’ Sabre unit, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Blackbaud said she’s eligible to receive separation payments.
Her resignation follows the decision by Blackbaud’s board of directors to appoint finance chief Anthony Boor as interim chief executive officer. He replaced Marc Chardon, who announced in January that he would leave the technology company by the end of this year. He left Aug. 31.
Boor is running the publicly traded company until the board can hire a permanent CEO. He also maintains his responsibilities as chief financial officer of Blackbaud, which designs software specifically for nonprofit organizations.
