A 29-year-old man is being treated for a gunshot wound he received at about 7 p.m. Friday at the Smart Store on Liberty Hall Road in Goose Creek, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The wound is non-life-threatening, said Capt. Rick Ollic.
The man, who was not identified, got into an altercation in a vehicle parked at the store, Ollic said.
Authorities will have a better idea of what happened after reviewing surveillance tape, he said.
The victim is being treated at Trident Regional Medical Center, Ollic said.
