Dr. F. Strait Fairey Jr. has been named medical director for the Charleston County office of Hospice Care of South Carolina. He has a bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He has been a partner at East Cooper Family Practice since 1974 and was chairman of the board of Roper St. Francis Physician Partners.
Scott N. Schools has joined the Charleston office of Moore & Van Allen PLLC as a member in the litigation group. His practice focuses in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, government investigations, and health care and financial fraud defense. Previously, he was with the U.S. Department of Justice for 18 years, most recently as associate deputy attorney general.
