Saving the Milkshakes, a local group, will hold a Festival and Food Truck Rodeo on Saturday to recruit breast milk donors.
The group will collect the names of women willing to donate breast milk to nourish babies whose mothers cannot breast feed them because they are getting cancer treatments.
Saving the Milkshakes also is raising money to establish a milk depot for donations in Charleston.
There will be food trucks, jump castles, face painting, music, vendors and information booths. The free family event takes place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. behind the Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston.
