The St. David’s Choir of St. Philip’s Church performed at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna, during a recent European tour. The two older children’s choirs of St. Philip’s Church in downtown Charleston recently returned from a concert tour of Europe. St. Philip’s Canterbury Choir (4th-12th-grade trebles) attended the International Children’s Choir Festival in Canterbury and London. The festival choir was composed of 350 children from around the world. The St. Philip’s Canterbury Choir then was joined in Prague by St. Philip’s older changed-voice boys. Together, the choirs performed three times, in Prague, Vienna and Salzburg. Next, the two choirs will perform their tour repertoire at St. Philip’s Church in downtown Charleston at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service on Sept. 8.
