Spill of wet concrete causes lane closure on Crosstown

About 1:30 p.m. today a concrete truck dumped an estimated 200 lbs. of wet concrete across three soutbound lanes of the Septima Clark Parkway, also known as the Crosstown, according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department.

The spill took place near Ashley Avenue, and police have traffic down to one lane in the area,

Workers were on the scene trying to remove the concrete, the release said.
