The Charleston Tri-County branch of Eat Smart, Move More South Carolina will launch Let’s Go!, a campaign encouraging healthy eating and active living throughout the community, at the Charleston RiverDogs game today.
This movement works to provide more options to eat healthy and get active.
Initial strategies implemented as part of the campaign in the greater Charleston area will focus on healthy eating.
Let’s Go! H2O is a campaign that encourages people to replace their sugar-sweetened beverages with water.
Let’s Go! to the Grocery Store partners with local groceries stores to display signs designating healthy food items.
And Let’s Go! to the Farmers Market provides healthy vendors with signs to help consumers identify which food items are a healthy choice.
As the campaign is further developed, strategies will be added to promote Let’s Go! Move More and Let’s Go! Track my Progress.
The campaign is aimed to reach everyone in South Carolina.
The Charleston Tri-County branch was selected as one of the first out of 21 statewide Eat Smart, Move More chapters to launch the campaign.
