The Charleston RiverDogs-Lexington Legends game on Wednesday night at Riley Park was postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games on Thursday starting at 5:05 p.m. Game 2 will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Fans holding tickets to Wednesday night’s game may exchange them at the Riley Park box office for tickets to any remaining RiverDogs 2013 regular season home game. A ticket for Thursday is good for both games.

St. Louis catcher Yadier Molina expects to be in the lineup Thursday, the first day he’s eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list from a right knee strain.
Molina has been dealing with knee woes for a couple months while playing almost every day.Molina was second in the NL with a .330 average, along with eight homers and 54 RBIs.
Blue Jays-Royals trade
Kansas City acquired versatile Emilio Bonifacio from Toronto for cash or a player to be named later.
Bonifacio was hitting .218 with three homers and 12 stolen bases. He’s played all three outfield spots but can also play second base and third base.
Tampa Bayisn’t sure when injured left-hander Matt Moore will rejoin the rotation. The All-Star is out with a sore left elbow. He had hoped to return this weekend, but struggled Wednesday during a 55-pitch bullpen session.
Boston right-hander Clay Buchholz says his latest bullpen session was “probably the best day so far” in his recovery from neck and shoulder ailments.
Buchholz has been sidelined since June 9. He threw nearly 50 pitches Wednesday.
Jake Arrieta will join the Chicago Cubs’ rotation on Friday, with Carlos Villanueva shifting to the bullpen. The Cubs acquired Arrieta in a July 2 trade with Baltimore.
