North Charleston police are still searching for suspects in a shooting at the Tanger Outlet Center that left a Myrtle Beach woman dead on Monday night.

A North Charleston police investigation had not yet produced a suspect on Wednesday in a fatal shooting that happened Monday night at the Tanger Outlet Center.

Authorities identified the slain woman as Pamelia Gravely, a 41-year-old escort from Myrtle Beach.

Officers were called to the popular shopping mall about 11 p.m. on Monday following reports of shots fired in the area.

“I saw it happen. I saw the whole thing happen,” a man frantically said to dispatchers, alerting authorities to a wounded woman lying in the street on Tanger Outlet Boulevard.

Gravely was still breathing, the man reported in the 911 call as he stood over her body. But signs of life diminished as blood poured from her mouth and nose.

A North Charleston police report revealed that Gravely had been shot in the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Not much is known of the details surrounding the shooting.

Witnesses reported seeing a man and a woman get into a scuffle with Gravely. A scream for help was quickly followed by a gunshot, police said.

The two people then ran toward a waiting sport utility vehicle before escaping down Hotel Road. They carried with them a bag believed to have been taken from the victim, police said.

Police on Tuesday said that Gravely was a transient resident at an area motel and that she had an escort profile on backpage.com. Investigators searched her room at the Days Inn on West Montague Avenue for more clues, a report states.

A Facebook page for Gravely shows the woman perched on a bed wearing sheer, black stockings and a pink, polka-dot lingerie.

On the page, Gravely described herself as a former adult toy party and romance consultant, and shared aspirations of starting her own business in that industry.
